Here are a few beautiful geometric illustrations I have found for inspiration lately. It looks like they were made from the blend tool in illustrator with some nice texture and color effects added. These are not my work, but I really appreciate the creativity and beauty. Original sources are as follows:

99% Conference
If you didn’t get to go to the 99% conference (I couldn’t either!) at least check out this article outlining major points from the major speakers.
Grit, the stubborn refusal to quit, is the single best predictor of success. There’s one feature that sets highly successful creative people apart from the rest of the pack. Single-minded dedication and the resolve to push through in spite of all obstacles – aka “grit” - is what drives great achievements. In other words, how you react to the inevitable failures along the way will be an important indicator of the end game.

Austin, TX
I’ve finally made it to Austin after talking about it for too long! Warm, Sunny, and mostly happy people- cannot complain. The AIGA presence seems pretty active here. Don’t forget to sign up for the bowling night May 24th- “More Cow Bell” www.get-more-cowbell.com
